Advent Calendar

Today it has been dull, grey, cold and wet, a day for staying indoors.
 
Today’s picture is of my advent calendar, the little tubes contain a small liqueur, they are all different.
 
Many thanks to everyone for their continued comments asking about my husband. His right leg is black and blue from the top of the thigh to the end of his toes, which indicates that when we went back into Addenbrookes there was a definitely a problem with bleeding. They are not sure why, but it is my opinion (and what do I know) that this was caused by all the upheaval and too much movement too soon, with removing him from the ward, down to the discharge lounge, then by ambulance to home; he definitely was not ready to come home. He is now moving about quite well for small amounts of time, the surgeon told him to use the frame as little as possible and that is what he is doing.
