Half Cleats

First job done IN the new workshop rather than ON the new workshop!

A couple of half cleats to stop the topmast halyard sliding along the mast when the halyard is tied to the topmast.

Yonks ago at the beginning of December when I brought the boat home I briefly hoisted the sails in the front drive which allowed me a trial topmast hoist to check the topsail dimensions, and position for these cleats.

Tan dacron, bolt rope and fancy thread all ready, dimensions checked - now I can make the sail.
(Well when the governor can find time to sew it up for me, I can).

Could be a future Blip
