darn

I'm still unpacking boxes at my studio. We are having an open studio weekend in a couple of weeks so I want to make it more presentable. I found this beautiful treasure, it was the Mister's grandmother's sock darning box. I remember well my grandmother teaching me how to darn socks and how happy I was to present my efforts to Daddy. He was a good sport and made no mention on the lumps in my first attempts.
