A bitty day

No, not in the a Little Britain sense. But a day where lots and lots happened in very short bursts of activity with a wide range of topics, issues and discussions happening.

In the middle of it all I had to go to Victoria Quay and in the bygoing met up with our sponsor branch and Malcolm Schaeffer from SCRA. I had been due to attend a meeting with him in the morning but other matters required my attention back in the office. Good to get a debrief on GIRFEC and the Children's Hearings system.

To avoid the maze of roadworks in Edinburgh I headed into town and caught this sight of the National Gallery with light reflected from the shop fronts in the north side of Princes Street. An unusual combination of light and shadow. A snapped shot.

Good today to welcome our new national training lead to CHS. Meggan Jameson joins us from Includem and we look forward to working with her in the months and years ahead.

Then after work off to see my aunt in hospital - just made it before visiting time ended at 8pm. Still no assessment undertaken for her care package so she languishes in hospital - at least able to listen to her favourite Classic FM via the TV. Unfortunately very few of the staff know how to change the channel if the programme is lost - and only one remote between 4 TVs on the ward. Ho hum.
