Sand Mandala

The Tibetan Monks are progressing with the sand mandala.
It has grown since I last photographed it here
It s very interesting to watch them, as the patterns are so intricate - and they hold it all in their heads. All made with individual sand grains of different colours. I think I am right in saying that there are only 5 colours used.
All depending how they stroke the horn, as to how much sand comes out of the funnel at a time. It is 2 dimensional as well. Have a look at it enlarged.
