Busy day today, with much rushing to and fro, and 2 trips on the harbour ferries. Which pretty much guarantees that it's going to be a rainy, miserable day!

A brief respite from roaring around like a blue-arsed fly*, while I was truffling through a kids' book shop (the bit in the Muddle-Headed Wombat, where the cat gets sucked up through the vacuum cleaner hose, always gets my attention....) . Then back to finalising a serious shopping expedition ahead of tomorrow's christening.

* Is it true that the Oxford dictionary is ascribing the origin of this phrase to the Duke of Edinburgh, c.1970? Surely it's older than that!!?
