the transformation of Bracknell

Bracknell's 1960s town centre has almost disappeared; this photo was taken on the top (fifth floor) of one of the "new" town's large car parks.  An unvisited open space, a touch spooky, but several storeys below below the Xmas fever is rampant.

(In my youth Xmas lasted for just a few days, and consequently could be enjoyed to the full.  Nowadays of course there is infinitely more to squander your money on.)
