World Cup Volunteer Appreciation Night

Busy work Monday followed by a lovely pub night to honour the volunteers. Fabulous spread, open bar and raffles. I missed out on the team Canada cycling jersies, the World Championship cycling medals (3 were raffled), podium bouquets, water bottles, maple syrup and cycling sox (my sweetie won those) but i did get a card autographed by Team Canada! Absolutely thrilled with signatures from the Canadians i cheered on over the weekend. The top photo is about a quarter of the voluteers. As many travelled a great distance, they couldnt make it back for the party. What amazing people we got to hang out with. First class event, so completely impressed with every aspect....cant wait to do it again for the next 2 years!
