Drakensberg

Back blip!
The Blyde River Canyon. Third deepest in the world. Highlight of a long journey yesterday from Pretoria following the Panorama route and the route of the wagons of the Boers (Voortrekkers) escaping the British!
This canyon is the highest point of the Drakensberg range.
36 degrees this afternoon!
From here on the high veldt we descended over 1000 metres to the low veldt and eventually our accommodation in the wild. Saw a giraffe as we arrived to a great dinner and our little ‘hut’!
