Cross Stitch

I've always enjoyed sewing and I don't really know why I gave it up. Anyway, I've recently been inspired by stitches on Instagram so I decided to get my sewing box out again. I thought I'd start with something simple but it's turning out to be more complicated. Not helped by the fact that I'm using a fine gauge fabric - this is 16 holes per inch but I think I'd have been better off with a 14 or even 12 hpi. Never mind, it will be finished, perhaps just not as quickly as I thought.

The design is Hecates' Wheel; this is just the start.
