Seasonal Tiny Tuesday
I spent over an hour faffing around with a favorite Christmas ornament, photographing it with a sprig of cedar, without a sprig of cedar, focus-stacked, not focus-stacked, side-lit, back-lit and a number of other variations. And you know what? In the end, I preferred this rather simple shot taken on the fly this morning in the yard - a branch of one of our red-cedars, bursting with berries. No fancy processing.
If you'd like to see one of the ornament shots, I'll put one that's been stacked and fartnarkled half to death in Extra. I love the ornament because it was purchased the weekend Hubs and I got engaged - Thanksgiving weekend 1999 in Cape May, NJ. Special memories.
It is a very dreary day with a bit of drizzle. On the upside, temps are in the upper 50's which is nice this time of year. Tomorrow a cold front is coming in and it's going to feel like winter.
I'm already dazzled with all of the wonderful TinyTuesday - Seasonal entries! Some wonderful Christmas-y images, of course. And those of you below the Equator are delivering in a big way with lots of cool insects, flowers and spring-ish shots. I'm thinking of extending the "seasonal" theme for next week, too - what do you think?
