Mirror Image

In the Carved Room at Petworth House where a friend and I enjoyed the Christmas Grand Tour a la the 2nd and 3rd Earls of Egremont in the 18th century. The exhibition was displayed across five of the state rooms each featuring one place: Petworth, Germany, Paris, Italy and the Swiss Alps.

A good lunch and engrossing conversation followed in the cafe. So engrossing in fact that before we knew it it was time for a cup of tea before heading home.
