Frosty Snowy

After days of rain, the sunshine this morning was very welcome! 

"What sunshine?" you may ask... well, it was streaming through the kitchen windows, but looking out onto the frosty deck was quite a contrast. Snowy had ensconced himself in lonely splendor in the birds' suet feeder, and I caught him as he settled in for a digestive break. 

At first he had his back to me, almost sulking, but finally he turned around and looked beguilingly at me, as if to encourage me to put out a few shelled almonds for him, as I have done before...

Off I go to do his biding!
