The Brendanator

Like most of the nation I'm glued to the Great British Bake Off. It's fantastic entertainment, enhanced further by reading the hilarious Twitter comments while the show is on. Comments on Mary Berry's floral bomber jacket, endless jokes about big buns and soggy bottoms - it's all there.

I think James is going to win but Brendan, aka The Brendanator as Sue Perkins calls him, is great entertainment. Precise and pendantic, he is, according to who you read on Twitter, a dead ringer for a Bond villain, a secret Nazi, or the most talented man ever to wield a whisk on TV. Last week he painted mascara on little blue birds made out of icing sugar. This week he made petits fours in the shape of swans. Not sure I'd want to live with him but I'd definitely eat his cakes!
