A green visitor!!

This grasshopper "hopped" in to the kitchen this morning and was lucky not to get crushed!!

I spent the next 10 minutes on the floor trying to get some in focus shots. I eased him on to a sheet of paper so that he showed up, but the lighting was poor. To prove that he wasn't harmed in any way, this is his journey back into the garden. If we had not been in the middle of making breakfast I would have put him outside to photograph, the lighting would have been better.

Quick trip in to town this morning to buy a couple of last minute things :0)

This afternoon we are going to the cinema to see Untouchable and will eat out before coming home!! B will be cooking for himself for the next 12 days, so a taste of someone else's food will be a good start.

My planned blip for today was to have been the books being returned to the meeting next week. I haven't read all of these, only the top four. We seem to have quite a collection of detective stories set in Italy in circulation at the moment.

PS The film was very good, based on a true story. French with subtitles, which was a bit of a surprise when we got there!! Plenty of laughs and some sadness!!
