A walk in the park

We walked Nell through the park this morning. Had to keep her leaf on due to large number of children and balls. However she remained unfazed by the presence of horses, and they by her.

I had seen the free-roaming equines yesterday and marveled, as there are no fences around the park.

As we walked on up the hill in search of a footpath to the top it rapidly became apparent that the horses free roam in and outside the park. They are not the only ones, we met a bull on the way home. A bull. In the park. And yes, he was entirely a bull. Horns and, ...er /everything/

Mr L had a flash of realisation in the night. Vincent now has water onboard again, though not much of it. How lucky are we that the Roadtrek sports dual fresh water tanks!

The tank connected to the broken pipe is now isolated. The smaller internal tank intended for winter use is supplying the domestic system and it turned out that we can include the hot water boiler on the working side. Hurrah.

So long as we stick close to fresh water taps we can continue to roam without worry. We can also flush the loo.

Am I happy? Oh, yes.
