Baby steps

The Christmas tree is inside the house! This is a big step for the Ards Man, who usually likes to have his birthday on 16 December Christmas free. Only after this date are we normally allowed to mention the C-word!

So this is one of the reasons why the tree is still snuggly inside its cocoon wrapping. The other is that I've just lit the fire alongside the tree, so thinking scientifically (!) I reckon if the branches are held close together there will be more humidity in those little recesses and the tree is less likely to lose water. Osmosis/diffusion concentration gradients kept low, and all that lark. I'll cut the bag away at the weekend and then decorating fun will begin! And it will only be the 9th December!
