A friend had invited me along for a "Landrover Experience"...

We arrived to the sparkling sight of several new white  "Discoverys" and "Range Rovers" and other Hair Dressers cars.
to one side stood a recovery vehicle ( Defender) which had me giggling straight away. John told me not to show him up or else.
After the Introduction, terrible coffee and briefing, I and the 11 other guests went out to the various 4x4s.
I went and stood by the Defender....and was politely told to "come along".
"But you said go out with your sales person to the Landrovers, and this is the only Landrover here" said an indignant I.
I think they got the message.. I doubt if I will be invited back.
