Cows, Monkeys and Punk Rock
Last night's show was fantastic. Very punk rock and very loud! I had ringing ears before entering the theatre and definately had ringing ears when I left. My friend Keeeff (very rock n roll) turned up late, gestapo ticket checking lady wouldn't let me into the foyer until he arrived and it was raining. All of this didn't dampen the enjoyment of the show though and there was lots of seat dancing going on.
This morning I headed over to a local country park to walk the dog. Dude's a funny old thing and can, at times, be petrified of his own shadow. He hates loud bangs and about 5 minutes into our walk there was an almighty bang and he was beside himself from that point on. As we had driven a fair way I wanted to have a good nosey around and so he had to go on the lead otherwise he would have legged it. Not much fun walking around with a dog who just insists on trying to strangle himself by pulling so hard on the lead. All he wants to do is get back to the car and get home but I do feel that sometimes he has to realise that nothing's going to hurt him and he can carry on with the walk...sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. After lots of reassurance he did calm down a lot and we managed to carry on only to be confronted by a herd of the noisest cows EVER. Not sure what was going on exactly but they were seriously noisy but oh so magnificent to look at. Dude and I stopped for quite a while to look at them over the fence and I took today's Blip of one of the said noisy culprits.
This afternoon has been spent trying to find the parts I need for my car that the naughty Longleat monkeys tore off. I've rung every scrap car dealer I can find, every Toyota garage and have now resorted to going to a dealer who wants to charge me £90 for 2 rubber moulds that run across my roof. Those monkeys have a lot to answer for!!!
The sun is shining today...yayy!
