The sun will come up tomorrow
It is a difficult time in Los Angeles. There are four major fires in the surrounding areas as close as 15 miles away. The Rye fire has burned 5000 acres. After 24 hours it is 5% contained. The Bel Air fire shut down the 405 freeway. This 150 acre fire is 0% contained. The Ventura county fire has consumed 50,000 acres and forced 50,000 people to evacuate. The Creek fire has burned more than 11,000 acres and destroyed 30 homes. The risk is that these fires advance rapidly if the wind gust pick up. We have had sustained winds at 20 miles an hour. At night we can see Gusts up to 60 mph.Our family is safe and sound. But we pray for our neighbors that live nearby.
