One of the old Stirlinghill quarries
A Walker's day - a wee stroll around Stirlinghill outside Peterhead before our annual Christmas lunch at the fairly new eatery outside the town. Spirits were undampened by the dreich morning as we looked forward to a bit of seasonal cheer at lunchtime. Our walk took us past a number of the now disused quarries that provided the pink granite that made Peterhead famous.
