From this ....to this.

Kona airport is unlike any other airport I’ve ever been in. It’s open plan - or at least open to the elements. No windows, no roof in the departure lounge. But it was lovely and warm so it wasn’t an issue.
We flew to LA to connect with flight number two. From the plane approaching LAX we could see the fires that are threatening and destroying homes there.
Arriving in Minneapolis the temperature had dropped to -7C. And snow on the ground.
Vive la différence!
