Ashness Bridge.
A bit of an emergency blip today. I was busy and it wasn't until about 7:30 I remembered blip. So I roamed round the house looking something I hadn't blipped before.
This is an original David Simpson. David is a friend of ours and for a while in the 80s/90s he made his living by these. We call them "not plaques" as David was adamant they weren't plaques. He would sculpt the scene in a form of modelling wax, cast it and then paint and mount it. To give a scale the centre circle is 55 mm in diameter. If you look carefully you will see djs and 87 as his mark and year of production.
