George Street Carbuncle

Though this looks quite impressive from the outside this brightly-lit blue dome structure in Edinburgh's George Street is a big disappointment when you go inside as it is basically an outdoor pub with more German Xmas Market stalls alongside it. It feels as though Edinburgh in its Xmas decorations has sold out completely to commercial interests.
