A mystery object

A day of wind, cold and darkness, best spent indoors. I have spent the time putting together a photobook from our recent sojourn to Budapest.
This is a page designed to remind us of our visit to the Hungarian National Gallery in Buda Castle. I have little idea as to the meaning of this  modern piece of art as the caption was in Hungarian. However, it appeals to me. Make of it what you will.
