Not Giverny .....

I don't know whether I was still feeling the influence of Paris or whether it was to counteract the greyness of the weather on the golf course this morning but, being Abstract Thursday, I thought I'd give the new Beak House pond beside the 8th green a touch of the Monet's.

If you'd watched me playing this morning, you'd have got the "impression" I'd never played the game before.

In my absence on Tuesday my playing partner Phil got a hole in one on this hole; he was within six inches of repeating the trick today.
