Slow

Things have gone a bit slow this past couple of days. A bit because of the buses, which keep driving past at unpredictable times and always late. A bit because I have had to reply to a good number of e-mails. I aim to complete quite a lot of pending work before Christmas. I find Florentine life a little stressful, if you live in the centre. If you have kids, or are disabled, or of very old age, things just get a bit difficult. In other parts of Italy people are wary of Florentine people . They call them bankers, obviously a pejorative . Modern banks were born in this part of Italy , so it seems. I only know a few locals, so I can’t say much. Except their accent is funny.
