Hey, bud!!

A slightly opened bud but so fresh in the early morning. This is a rambling clematis which has a mass of blooms on. Some years I let it crawl through a nearby bush but this year I have kept it mostly tied up on a trellis so all the blooms are seen.
Another hot hot day. Watered the garden this morning and entertained visitors the rest of the day.
I reckon our gardens are two weeks earlier this year. The way things are going a lot of my flowers will be over by mid January.
