The Eyes Have It

Thursday, Sugar had an eye exam.  It has been a few years, and I wanted to see how her convergence issues were doing.  I had a sneaking suspicion that her eyes were focusing together as they should.  Sugar had quit wanting to wear her glasses for reading, as she said she didn't feel like she needed them anymore.  She was CORRECT!  She has 20/15 both near and far, and zero sign of convergence issues.  She aced her exam.  

I also had her checked for any markers of Marfan's Syndrome.  Her chest wall deformity is an indicator....and so we wanted to make sure she didn't have any of the eye issues.....and......she doesn't.  So that was GREAT news!  This mama's heart can rest a little easier. 

Her eyes had to be ultra dialated for the exam, so no swimming for Sugar.  We went home, and I did some work from there.
