Duvet day and dance music

Me and Audrey were both out of sorts today. I am still under t'weather and she had her jabs (see her glum face in blip pic) so we stayed in watched telly and did very little.

Turns out Audrey likes dance music which was today's discovery. Half knew this from when I was pregnant as had been having a makeover in MAC one day and she'd literally gone berserk in my stomach, flipping and turning to the beat of the sound system that they has on in-store. I then played her dance music through my headphones onto my stomach and she had always had the same reaction. Maybe she'll be a DJ?

Today I watched a documentary I'd saved from a few weeks ago about clubbing. She sat on my knee and bounced around to the beat. It wasn't just a 'Oh maybe she likes this' thing. It was really obvious she LOVED it!

While she napped I caught up on some work. Pitched a story to a journalist and prayed she didn't wake up screaming while I spoke on the phone. She didn't thank goodness.

Have a half day with her tomorrow as I am at the dentist all afternoon for some major dental surgery. Dreading it especially as will be sedated. Not looking forward to coming round from that at 2am to feed Audrey. That's gonna hurt!!!
