A round trip to deliver the LR radiator for re-coring in Yeovil and then across to Bridgwater to drop off the alternator for overhaul and new bearings. Back home and a phone call to J to see what more is needed........wish I hadn't rung him!! Still it will be virtually a new vehicle but with the patina of age on the body and much much cheaper than buying an unknown replacement second hand car. It seems to me from what I hear that unless you spend a good 5 figures you could end up with a load of repairs being needed within the first year.
