Snow Showers
4.1C with some sleety snowy showers and a good bright spell through the middle of the day.
Wind NW/NNW noticeably stronger than forecast at up to 29 mph with gusts to 53 mph.
Fergus and I went for a walk out to the old shipyard after lunch. There was a big cloud hiding the sun when we started off so it was very cold looking over town with a dusting of snow on Beinn Ghuilean. It got brighter as we walked along Low Askomill. Out at the shipyard it was more slushy than snowy underfoot. There was no more than a flake or three of snow on Davaar island.
Back in town we had a wander round past the Picture House then came back through town. When we passed the harbour it was almost sunny.
