Mouth of the Axe

Late afternoon walk down to where the River Axe meets the sea. The wind was blowing a bit, but it was great weather otherwise with beautiful light. 
After this we had a quick trip to Seaton Wetlands - very interesting. We'll go back another day without the dogs (they are not allowed there as they could disturb the birds). 
This evening it was back into Axminster for the Christmas festivities before buying some excellent fish and chips and bringing them home to eat. It was a great evening for the celebrations. Dry and chilly but lovely and bright.
