In case you come back
I spent today in London , this morning at a strategy session which was quite corporate compared to lots of our work. Impressive and challenging at once, since the concept of social enterprise to fill education gaps can rankle, when in essence it exists due to appalling government policy!
This afternoon was a treat of a walk around the Bloomsbury area of London which included some fantastic gems of literary figures’ biographies.
Here, though, we saw Tracy Emin’s commissioned sculpture outside the Coram Foundling Hospital. Such a striking piece to capture the possibility (unique to this agency) that a parent could, if they felt they had the means , come back for a child they’d handed over previously when they’d fallen on hard times.
