Another rain day

I pass by this barn when I go to the main road from my house.  Today, I had to make a turn around, go back the other way and then go back by the barn to get a photo through the raindrops.  Lucky for me no one was coming up behind me for about a minute or so while I stopped in the middle of the road.    I think we have had about 2 inches of rain today.

I met up with a high school friend for coffee at 10am and we talked and talked and laughed until 12:45..we should have just gotten lunch and kept talking.  It is so much fun to reminisce about high school days.   We were not particularly close friends back then but have more in common know that we keep in touch.     She has a granddaughter that is in the middle school which is the old high school where we graduated.  She said the granddaughter had volleyball practice in the gym/assembly hall where we had our graduation ceremony and it was so tiny!   She remembers it being so big!   I do too so I told her we should have a social their when we have our 50th class reunion in a few years.  

We definitely need to get together more often!     

This change in the weather is making the crud I had feel like it is creeping back.  So maybe it is called the creeping crud!   And in some good news, the hike for tomorrow has been postponed until January..the area where we were going to hike has already had 3 or 4 inches of snow!   Not really good for an off the trail kind of hike!       So instead of hiking, I am going to a couple of Christmas markets!   Still can't decided on the decorating!   Maybe the markets will get me in the mood!
