Afternoon walk
I felt exhausted when I woke up this morning so went back to bed, after an early lunch I walked through the park learning songs as I went, I decided to go into Kingston and try and buy some clothes for some upcoming gigs, I’ve got some options for a lot of trying on. I’ve put on quite a bit of weight this year so none of my stage outfits fit at the moment.
On my way to the park I met Julia, Norman‘s daughter, Norman was my Mum‘s best friend in the nursing home, he is stone deaf, he has no legs, he is a staunch Quaker with a motorised chair, he is a keen gardener and has transformed the nursing homes garden with his daughters help, he will be 95 next year, I was very happy to hear that he is doing so well, I had thought I would visit him more, I did write to him and I did visit him once after Mum died but as time has gone on I just don’t feel like going to the home, I don’t feel ready yet. I was saddened to hear that a lovely lady called Lilian who I always used to wave to and have a little chat with has passed away.
Zebedee had some tests at college today with he said went really well.
This evening Max made a lovely curry and we watched Love Actually with Gulli.
