Elland Christmas Festival

FRIDAY

It was the Christmas festival in Elland town centre today and the lantern parade was just about to set off as I passed through on my way home from work this evening.

The Christmas lights were already switched on, the carols had been sung and the parade was about to wind it's way through the streets. This year it had a  maritime theme with an illuminated boat, lots of illuminated fish a giant lighthouse together with a silver band, dancers and a few boat loads of sea farers.
