Light in the Darkness

At last, a "festive features" again! 

Had to go to Lisbon for a meeting today, so we took Jeff on a bit of a tour - don't think I've ever seen such a beautiful display of Christmas lights. Nor Lisbon so crowded - it's the beginning of a long weekend, and the streets were packed, I loved it. 

So much to see, so many photos; chose this one of the fountain in Rossio square, especially as it featured so heavily in the book I've just finished reading - maybe 2000 Jews were massacred here in 1506. So difficult to understand... but there was also a massacre when Jesus was born - see Matthew 2:16-18.
