It looks cool, and it was cooler than the past few blisteringly hot days, but it was still bordering on being very hot with cloud cover.

 This recreational fishing boat is returning to port on the incoming tide.

It’s a popular spot and this morning there was a great deal of activity in the surrounding water. Two kingfish and a large Kahawai were amongst the fish hauled ashore while a large stingray was lurking in the waters below the platform.


Afraid it was another missed day on blip yesterday so I thank you all very much for the comments and stars for Thursday’s festive view of my Advent wreath. It also means I am back in catchup mode with your journals.
