The Red Corner

So little colour left in the garden, but this corner of red does stand out among the drab surroundings:-)  The pigeons and blackbirds have started to eat the berries, so I don't think it will stay red for long.

More light snow overnight, but almost gone now and think we have been lucky to miss the worst of the weather so far.  Still doing loads of washing and can't believe we needed all those clothes for just three weeks, but everything did get worn (except the long sleeved merino vest as recommended by Snowy, my NZ blip friend!!)

The cellulitis rash is clearing up well now and should be completely gone in a few days, so I was lucky to catch it in time.  Many thanks for all the sympathy and kind wishes and we are gradually feeling more like our normal selves now, though still tend to want to drop off mid-afternoon!
