Lichfield Cathedral

Back Blip from a whole week ago.

Photo mojo is lacking a bit at present plus manic at work so I've been absent here for a week or so.

Last weekend we went to Lichfield Cathedral as a long time family friend was visiting and we wondered where we should go for the day out. Lichfield proved to be a perfect choice as the cathedral was decked out with lots of locally decorated Christmas trees and they were playing Christmas carols, which was smashing and made us feel as though the festive season had really started. There's an extra of the trees. It's a shame we had to leave to get home for tea as they were setting up for the Advent Carol Service, which was going to be candlelit and would have been a wonderful spectacle.
