Camper van with a view!

Head for a campsite in Budapest, no problem, use the GPS. As before in cities, we soon found ourselves going round one way systems, lost in the dark ... don't you love those beeps! However, we turned into a wide street and could not believe our eyes, not only was there this magnificent parliament building hovering above the River Danube, but there were free parking spaces opposite it. So we have abandoned the van and found a pub with wifi (and loud music - so won't be here for long!). I have a feeling sleep will not come easily tonight, on a noisy street. It is difficult to imagine Russian tanks rumbling through these streets when I was 4 years old, as the Hungarians rebelled against Soviet rule. At least it will only be cars driving past.
Will we make it to Sophia tomorrow? Anyone know a good place to stay, there don't seem to be campsites there?
