Better than shopping

I had a nice lazy start to the day with Claire as it was cold and snowy outside. After breakfast we decided we would build some snowmen/women in the garden. The snow was too dry and light to form a real good example but we both managed a little one each.

After that Claire decided she needed to go to Merry Hill shopping center for a present for tomorrow, it was incredibly busy so I dropped her off at the entrance and I drove off to park a mile away and go for a walk.

I'm so glad I went out in the cold crisp air as it looked so lovely along the canal. I took many images but this little scene at the top of the Delph Locks seems to capture the feel of the day best.

Just about thawed out now....brrrrr
