Festivities

After the 8th of December, Christmas officially begins in Italy. People are allowed to show their Christmas trees and shops begin selling their stuff - at least officially . In reality, shops begin selling way before the 8th, or so it seems. This tree close to the Dome was surrounded by people and there was even a Nativity close by . Italians take their festivities seriously. I certainly take their sweets and cakes seriously.
