DWEILEN!

Downtown this afternoon - quelle horreur! It was heaving with humanity with no idea where it was going - frustrating for one who just wanted in & out as fast as possible.

Amongst other things, I acquired these super-strong, super-absorbent floor cloths (dweilen, Flemish, torchons, French) for our lovely Meles who tells me she "can't get them anywhere in this unenlightened place!"
Scotland, apparently doesn't wash its floors - maybe it's still stuck with the old-fashioned mop - bless!!
