Groynes

Marshalled at parkrun and wrapped up well against the cold, fortunately yesterday's bitter wind had abated. Then shed several layers of clothes in the car as my friend and I headed off into the woods for a 6 mile run, which my legs managed fine.
Next we met up with Mr Rat in the café (he was on his second cuppa) before heading home.
As it was so lovely a walk by the sea was next on the agenda with the low sun really highlighting certain features. We could have gone sunset hunting as it must have been good over the river and round the corner but instead went, fairly successfully, Christmas present hunting for the few remaining awkward ones. Nearly done now - hurray!
