Looking good at 89

Yes, it's F.M.i.L's birthday today, 89 years old.
We had a celebratory lunch (Smoked Salmon, Pork slicing pie (with egg), salad/beetroot/gherkins etc......, lovely fresh rolls and desert of Marlanes little meringues with raspberries and cream. Her other daughter, Sonia, came over with her husband Andy (the one that creates his own music) and son Dax.
Others came over to see her in the afternoon so it  was a busy day.
Topped off with evening Mass which made her day.

I took her over to Churchdown for Mass this morning but when we got there we found it was cancelled because of a priests ordination in Bristol. Her normal church, St Peters, also did not have a mass for the same reason but Churchdown 'Our Lady of Perpetual Succour' didn't put anything on their website so we presumed the mass was on as scheduled. Not to worry, back home to breakfast and a cup of tea and prepare for the lunch above.
I think she enjoyed the day.
