At The Bay

With an escape plan made late last night, J, C and I set off on an early train north to be met in Newcastle by my sister and nephew. Living too far from the sea, I couldn't come this far without a stroll on the sand so we took the metro sraight out to Whitley Bay. With warming soup inside us we headed out up the beach in the cold with repeated weather checks in case the escape plan was required. By mid afternoon the threat of heavy snow was gone so it was back to plan A, much to the excitement of J. Pizza, Enchanted Park, a sleep over and plenty of cousin time before our train tomorrow.
