Pheasant berries

I love the colour of these berries, which I spotted growing at the tennis club today. How is it that I have never noticed this type of berry before? They are called pheasant berries.

I have had an active day of tennis and running but the housework, as ever, has suffered! I have a friend who loves to see my house in its messy scruffy glory. It makes her feel a bit better for slacking off. We would both love to have perfect houses but tough choices have to be made.
