Summertime Fun

The children took part in the church service this morning.  The puppets related the Christmas Story.  (Extra 1 & 2)  (extra 3)  Merry Christmas.  Extra 4 is of the church flowers, they had already been taken out of the vase before I photographed them.   The hymn for today is 'Away in a Manger."   

The church folk had a picnic lunch by the lake, while some children had a biscuit ride, others had a play in their kayaks, (main blip).  I still have 4,000 steps to do, so I'll head out now before settling in for the evening.  The sun and warmth is back, sadly the rain has gone
